Oca e-Pak shipment plugin for VirtueMart 3

This plugin integrates Oca e-Pak shipment method with VirtueMart 3. This plugin, automatically integrates to your VirtueMart store in a way that the store administrator simply installs the plugin and after several simple configuration steps, gets a full fledged shipment method.

This plugin works with stores based in Argentina.

Install Instructions:

  1. Make shure you have latest VirtueMArt version. Check it out here, clic aquí
  2. Install the plugin using Joomla! extensions installer
  3. Enable plugin on Joomla! plugin manager
  4. Create and configure a new VirtueMart payment method (Components->VirtueMart->Payment Methods->New)
  5. Write down the new payment method name
  6. Select "Yes" on "Published"
  7. Select "VMShipment - OCA e-Pak Shipment Plugin For VirtueMart 3" in "Shipment Method" field
  8. Click "Save" to enable "Configuration" tab
  9. Click "Configuration" tab
  10. Set the options as you like, following the on screen instructions

Shopper Fields

This plugin needs you to create 3 new shopper fields: street number(required), floor(optional) y room(optional), afrter you create them, you need to select them in plugin config page, for more details, take a look at this screenshots Screenshot 1 Screenshot 2 Screenshot 3

Basic Operation

The label generation takes plase manually from the order details which selected shipment method is OCA e-Pak

  • Get to joomla! admin area
  • Go to VirtueMart order list
  • Click on an Order which selected shipment method is OCA e-Pak
  • At the end of the Order details page you will find the shipment details
  • Select the admission or pickup date and click Generar Orden button

Box Calculation

At OCA order creation, the plugin will automatically calculate the needed shipment boxes. This calculation is offered as best effort calculation, meaning that the calculation might not be as accurate as human mande. It's important that boxes quantinty remains the same to the ammount calculated by the plugin to avoid OCA rejections, but the box sizes can vary a little.
